This was part of a Graduate Assignment for a UNT course.

Tools Used: Canva (for handout creation), SME (knowledge shared from Veterinarians at Hebron Parkway Veterinary Hospital).

Purpose & Audience: I created this to educate dog owners on how to easily check at home if their pet is dehydrated. During my personal work experience, I found out that this was a common concern, especially during hot Texas summers.

Final Product: I authored the content and subsequently designed and created the flyer utilizing resources on Canva. It was crucial to conduct usability testing to ensure steps could be followed by any adult pet owner. I focused extensively on ensuring the warning was prominent and impossible to overlook during the creation of the job aid. The final product can be seen below.
